Overview

Connect with the Local Spirit Your journey begins with a seamless Private Transfer from your hotel to the banks of the Mekong, where you will cross via local ferry to a traditional Muslim fishing community. This is a "community-focused" journey designed to offer a "genuine connection" with the families who have called this river home for generations.

Master the Artisanal Craft Board a traditional wooden vessel and join a local family during the most active hours of the river (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM). Under their guidance, you will learn the Artisanal Fishing techniques of the Mong (gill net) and the intricate skill of net mending. It is an "authentic riverside experience" that honors the "local spirit" and supports "sustainable journeys".

A Traditional fish Lunch on the Water Conclude your morning with a curated Boat Lunch featuring the fresh local catch. To ensure the comfort of our guests, all meals are prepared by the local community.
